SEIU Women's Committee

Improving the lives of women throughout Ontario
The SEIU Local 1 Canada Women’s Committee is committed to improving the working, social and economic lives of women through education, lobbying for change and our growing participation.

Founded in 2005, the committee has organized numerous events that are of interest to women. One of these events included a Women's Fair to celebrate International Women's Day on Saturday, March 10, 2007 in Toronto. The fair had informational booths, displays and guest speakers for all to enjoy.
