Allied health care workers often play a crucial, but often overlooked, role in Ontario’s health care system. They are a diverse group of people, which include physiotherapists, occupational therapists, respiratory therapists, and many others.
These professionals directly or indirectly help improve a patient’s health by evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and monitoring their progress.
