"Our Mom calls them angels"
Our mother gets homecare and home help one a regular basic 5 days a week and she strongly depends on these services. She has had this kind of help for twelve years. It is impossible and way too expensive for her to go into a nursing home. And she wants to stay in her apartment.
She has three different workers. These ladies are fantastic: they go a long way out to help her and please her. She is a very heavy case. Without their help she could not function. I have rheumatoid arthritis and my sister works full time, so thank God we have these girls.
Our Mom calls them her Angels and really, that’s what they are even for us, the family. We know she is in good, loving hands that care. Yet these workers are underpaid. Only a few people can do this type of work. They give, give and give. So thank you to all workers – PSWs, Home Help and Home Support. You do make a big difference in many family's lives. I wish your employer could see that.
