SEIU Local 1 Canada is sponsoring a set of public hearings in conjunction with the Ontario Health Coalition on home care across the province during the week of June 9th in Toronto, Sarnia, Peterborough, Ottawa., and on June 16th in Thunder Bay.

The panel is hearing submissions from service delivery agencies, community groups, labour organizations, health policy analysists and PSWs, includes Dr. Pat Baranek University of Toronto, Carol Kushner health policy analysis, and former Ottawa Mayor and MP Marion Dewar.

The panel will prepare a paper with recommendations in September.
