The Service Employees International Union Local 1 Canada won a best float award at the 2010 Toronto Pride Parade.

SEIU's parade float had six 'sexy nurses’. They were accompanied with a regiment of SEIU members, family and friends armed with fully-automatic squirtguns to cool down the crowd.

SEIU Local 1 Canada supports equal rights for all citizens.
